Until May 8th the river will be running steady at 3060.  Hydrologists have noted that we have the most about of water content in our snow pack since 1983.   Once we get to May 8th snow pack will be reevaluated to determine summer flows.   I am excited for this flow.  Traditionally,  flows between 2000-3000 cfs has been when the river is at it healthiest.  

What's the Catch? 

This week it is a big Bow getting into spawning colors. As April begins so will some of the Rainbows. Rainbows spawn in April and May here on the Green. Blue Wing Olives are in force during April and that is what really brings excitement to the fly fishing community. Look for pods of large fish sipping on the sail boat winged may flies. Blue Wings come in great abundance which coincides with great dry fly fishing. There are plenty of fish looking to acquiesce your offering!
